Other Fun Pictures!

The twins have been playing in these toy bins ever since they learned how to move. The house will be totally silent, and i'll go looking for them, to find them just sitting in these bins reading!

The twins found an extra scrap of paper, and deicded to pretend to color. They sat like this for a good 10 minutes.
They were playing "Ring around the Rosies" and I told them to hug. So they did.
Yea. Carlie is chillin on the second shelf of our tower shelf thing. We have two of these towers, one on each side of the TV, and one day I walked in the living room to find BOTH girls sitting on the second shelf. Crazy girls.
They LOVE their blankies! This is one of my favorite times of the day. Both girls are sitting still. In one place. Eating a small snack.

Thanksgiving

I know, its mid December, and im just NOW posting about Thanksgiving. Better late then never right?? We invited Aarons side of the family (sisters and his mom) over to our house for Thanksgiving. Aaron and his mom did ALL of the cooking, and I even got to stay in bed (thanks to a migraine) It was a lot of fun, but I dont think we will be having it our house again, anytime soon! (Aarons says it was just way too much work!)

After everyone left, we headed over to MY grandparents house, to eat another Thanksgiving dinner! My great grandmother was in town, so it was nice to see her. Somehow I forgot to get a picture of her holding the twins. I dont think I got a single picture of her at all this year... :( Anyway, this is Carlie kissing my brother Dave. She's such a sweet heart!

Im finally getting around to uploading pictures from the last month. The twins were Cheerleaders for Halloween. I dont love their costumes, but I guess thats what happens when you wait until the last minute to put something together. (Which leads me to think that I should stop working so I cant stay on top of these things)





The twins have been doing this (sitting in toy bins) ever since they figured out how to crawl. I love moments like this!

I have been toying with the idea of potty training. So far, neither girls have shown any interest in the potty's I have gotten. Carlie likes to use this one for a hat. Dont worry, it hasnt been used!

Has it been a month already?!

I just realized it has been a month since my last post!! What can I say, i've been BUSY!!

- Halloween : The I decided to let the twins go Trick or Treating. They had been sick earlier that week, and I was really hesitant about taking them out, in the cold. But they had a blast. Carlie kept putting rocks in her bag, and Claire tried running into peoples houses. Good times.

- Costco/Shade Roadshow: I decided to manage 2 Costco/Shade Roadshows this year. I finished my first 10 day show last week, and will start my next show on Friday. Speaking of: I need a employee who would be able to work this upcoming show. I think I need someone for 3-4 days, 9:30 - 4:30. It will be at the Summerlin Costco, and I'll pay $10/hour. Let me know if you know of anyone who would be available to help. ( its real simple, you just stand at the Shade Clothing booth, and help customers find sizes, and answer questions about the product, super easy!)

- iPhone: iGot one! and iLove it !!

- Osh Kosh : is amazing. We got lots of cute stuff for the twins! We also get a 'multiples' discount! I LOVE that place!

- Thanksgiving: Aaron decided to invite his family over to OUR house for Thanksgiving. My grandparents dont want to come over, so we will still be having to go over to their house later in the day. My grandparents arent rude, its just that my great grandmother will be in town, and she isnt used to being around lots of kids. So, having her at my house, along with Amy and Lane and their kids, and Carey and Shane and their boys, wouldnt really be a good idea ... (no matter how I word that, it just sounds like im being mean) Anyway, Thanksgiving, will once again, be a rushed, not so relaxing day.

2 Years Old

I finally took the twins to their Well Check. First of all, I HATE waiting at the doctors office. Usually when I call in for an appointment, I talk to Olna, and she makes sure we don't have to wait too long to see Dr. Conti, but this time I forgot to ask for her, and we waited in the waiting room for OVER an hour and a half. I was NOT happy! Carlie only headbutted the ground twice, and Claire only said "MINE!" a few times to the other kids who wanted to play with toys. But considering they hadn't really had a nap, all was OK. Anyway ... Claire weighs 22lbs and Carlie weighs 23.5 lbs. Dr. Conti wasn't too concerned with their weight, so I'm not concerned either. They DO eat. They are just small!

I need to get potty chairs. Carlie likes to tell me "I poot" ... so I think she may be getting ready to potty train. Claire just grabs her butt all funny when she "poots" So I think its time to start trying. I'm not going full force into potty training, but I'm just going to introduce the concept. Really, I'm not in ANY hurry. (I used to tell people, "oh maybe when the twins are out of diapers I'll have more kids" um, they are getting close to being out of diapers, and I am NOT ready to have more kiddos yet!)

Aaron and I counted how many words they say, and we could come up with 50. I think that is a lot right? I know its not a contest to see who's kids can say the most, but its nice to know my kids can speak!

But im sure i'll learn how to do cute stuff eventually. I sell to hair stylists, I definatly am NOT a hair stylist!

Im BACK!!

First, I would just like to thank PC Laptops for fixing my laptop this week! It died last Monday night after our friend JOEY decided he NEEDED to watch the Baseball scores online ... I doubt that was what broke the laptop, but I'm blaming him. Anyway, my laptop is fixed, I am ALL caught up on my blogs, and I am ready to get back to blogging!

Last Monday I got in a car accident. I was on the 215 going to work, traffic was a little backed up, we started going a little (I couldn't have been going more than 25 mph) sneezed a good 4 times, and traffic had stopped. So, I rear ended the car in front of me, who hit the car in front of it, who naturally hit the car in front of IT. So, our brand new truck, is hanging out at the body shop, getting a new front end, and front fender. :( Sorry Aaron! I really shouldn't drive cars before they are registered. (I got in an accident 17 days after we bought the Camry, and wrecked the Titan 20 days after buying it!) Anyway, I'm fine. I was a little sore for a few days, but really, I'm fine. Funny thing, the guy that was driving the van that I hit first, just so happened to NOT have a valid drivers license (hadn't had a valid one since 1984) Obviously didn't have insurance, AND he had SEVERAL warrants out for his arrest. So, he went to jail! Crazy huh?!

Aaron the twins and I have had nasty colds since last week. Mine is pretty much gone. But the twins are still sick. Its pretty sad.

I'm SO excited for all the new shows starting up this season!! The Bachelor was GREAT Monday night, it's going to be an interesting season! I still need to watch Law and Order SVU from last night. Private Practice starts tonight, tomorrow is Greys Anatomy, Friday is Las Vegas, and Sunday is Desperate Housewives AND Brothers and Sisters! WOOHOO!! I am SO grateful for DVR!

The weather has been AMAZING this past week! I don't think we have had our AC on at all the last 5 days! I am LOVING this cool weather!

I just found out I MIGHT be going to NEW YORK for a work meeting! I should know sometime soon, seeing how the meeting is in October. It will only be for a short weekend, but still, I've never been, and I'll be going for free!!

5 years ago, I was getting ready to get married. We had just gotten our invitations back from the printing company, I was beyond frustrated with my bridesmaids, (or lack thereof). My brother was getting ready to come home from his mission ... Lots of stuff was going on 5 years ago!

The twins had just turned 1! I had just started managing the Shade Kiosk.

4.) Yesterday:
Yesterday Aaron left town, so I stayed home from work. I did some laundry, cleaned a little, played with the twins, and watched the Burn Notice marathon!

Chips and Salsa, anything chocolate, fruit, skittles, veggies.

6.) 5 Things I would do if I suddenly had $100 Million:
I would, 1.) Pay off my house/cars 2.) Build MWB street. 3.) Give my parents and siblings enough so they could enjoy life 4.) Travel ALL over. 5.) Then put the rest in the bank and earn more money on interest!

Hawaii, London, Any Beach, Parowan <-- call me strange, but I LOVE it there! anywhere as long as the husband and kids get to come along!

Friday Five!

I dont think I've done a Friday Five yet.

1. Who is your best friend?
As cliche as it sounds, Aaron is my best friend.

2. Why did you become friends?
There was just something about him! The first time I saw him, I thought he was kind of a jerk, but I felt I needed to get to know him before I made that judgement.

3. How did you meet?
Aaron was my friend Keri's, older brother Richies friend. Does that make sense? Anyway, one day Keri and I were hanging out at her house, and her brother and some of his friends were going out to lunch, and invited us. So we went to lunch, and the rest is history!

4. Why have you stayed friends?
Other than the fact that I married him ... He has been the one that I go to for anything and everything. I have had SO many friends come and go in my life, but I know that he is the ONE constant friend. He supports me in everything. He makes me want to be better. His love/friendship is unconditional.

5. How long (realistically) do you think you'll be friends?
:) For an Eternity!

My Girls are TWO !!

Claire and Carlie turned 2 on Friday!! We went to Build A Bear, and Claire picked out a Kitty, and Carlie picked a Bunny to make! They both had a lot of fun! Then on Sunday, we had our family and a few friends over for a party! I was a little worried about having 30+ people at our house, but everything went great! The girls had a TON of fun, and have had a lot of fun playing with all their gifts!

I don't read very often, and I havent even started the 7th Harry Potter book yet, But I have read Twilight and New Moon in less than 48 hours! I just started Eclipse and cant wait to finish! The 4th book isnt due out until next fall ... I cant wait!

Texas, Here I Come!

I am leaving for a work filled weekend in Texas, in the morning. wait, it already IS morning ... My flight leaves in exactly 6 hours, and I have yet to finish packing, let alone GO TO BED!

Hopefully I dont get stuck in any Hurricanes or Tropical Storms. Im not a fan of crazy rain. Austin is expected to get 1-3 inches of rain each day that I will be there. yippee.

We're Home!

My brother Dave is MARRIED!! Woohoo! He will be 27 in November, so he was starting to hit the age where he becomes a "menace to society" (according to Stake President Asay) Davids wife, Linda is from Northern Utah, so they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. We made the long drive up there of course. And we couldnt have done it with out borrowing my SIL's portable DVD Players. The twins were GREAT the entire drive up to Salt Lake!

We left late Friday morning, with only one stop! We had to get some "Squeeky Cheese" in Beaver. We got to Layton right in time for the Family BBQ at Linda's parents house. Saturday was jam packed full with stuff for us to do. Saturday we had a Luncheon in SL a few hours before the Sealing. After the Sealing we took pictures (Along with 8 other couples who decided to get married on Saturday. I think someone said that there were over 400 sealings done on Saturday, it was CRAZY at Temple Square!) The twins were beyond tired/hungry/hot/cranky so we didnt stay at the Temple much longer after we took a few big family pictures. We were able to drive up to the hotel and rest for a little while, before the Reception at Union Station in Ogden. The reception was fun. We ended up leaving before the festivities started, but the twins were again, beyond tired, so we headed back towards Layton to get some dinner, and head to bed. Linda's dress was absolutly GORGEOUS. I usually dont cry, or get misty eyed, but when they came out of the Temple, I was having issues keeping my mascara on! She just looked beautiful!!

Sunday we had lunch with my family, and my Uncle Gregs wife and daughter. Then I met up with my friend Melissa! I was glad to be able to see her even though it was just for a little bit! Then we met back up with my family at the Gateway Mall. My sister Keri has been telling us about these Roach Broaches for EVER, so we decided to go see what she was talking about. They have these at the Black Chandelier store. My youngest sister, Kim even HELD the ROACH. The Roaches have Swartzcki (sp?) Crystals glue'd (well not glued, but adhered approved by P.I.T.A on the roaches shell. NASTY.) I got a picture of it. Then we headed home, but took the LONG way. We stopped in Manti, to walk around the Manti Temple. That is where my parents were Sealed, and they hadnt been back to Manti in 28 years! So we stopped and walked around for a little bit. After that, we headed home! It was a very busy weekend, but it was a lot of fun, and now knowing that the twins are content for a long drive, we look forward to doing this again!

Yesterday and Today the twins have been so nice to eachother!! I was even able to capture their niceness on camera! Claire initiated the hugs today. Usually Carlie is the lovey one. Too cute!

Home Sweet Home!

We are FINALLY pretty much settled in! It feels so weird being in this house! I feel like im house sitting or something! We still have a few things to get from the other house, but for the most part everything is moved.

We decided to cancel Cox Cable, and go with the Embarq bundled package. We saved a good $50, BUT I have had a horrible experience getting everything connected and hooked up. On Thursday our phone line and DSL were installed. The DSL didnt start working until late this afternoon. Our phones worked fine until this morning, they didnt work for half the day. And we STILL dont have our Dish Network yet. We had an appointment set for sometime between Noon and 5pm, for a tech. to set us up. I started getting worried around 4:30pm, when he hadnt arrived yet. So, I call Dish Network, and find our where he is. The woman on the phone said he had just left his last appointment, and was on his way. An hour passes, and I call again. Come to find out he didnt have the correct reciever on his truck. WHAT?? You mean to tell me I just sat at home ALL FLIPPIN DAY, to find out the technician screwed up? I was LIVID! We havent had TV since Wednesday!!!! So, we will be having our Dish set up tomorrow morning before church. :S If we werent saving so much money, I would have just told them to forget about it, and go back with Cox!

Our House Is Finished!

Woohoo!! Today Aaron and I did the final walk through of our house! There weren't many things that needed to be fixed, mainly just paint touch-ups. Tomorrow we will sign off on the things that needed to be touched up, and then we go sign documents and title! We should be getting our keys on Wednesday by noon !! I'll post pictures when we are all moved in!

Terrible Twos ... I mean TERRIFIC Twos!

No, the twins arent 2 just yet, but they sure are throwing some terrible two'ish tantrums!! Claire will throw herself on the ground, grab a foot, and kick herself in the head. Both girls will bang their heads on just about anything, including the floor. Its funny for half a second, but after that, I dont know what to do! Hopefully they grow out of this Oh SO FUN stage quick!

Carlie is such a sweetheart when she wants to be! She loves to give hugs and kisses. But, when she is mad, she is M.A.D. !

Claire is a little firecracker! She climbs, hangs upside down, and loves to be thrown in the air. She isnt too fond of giving kisses, but she sure does enjoy cuddling with her dad!

They are saying about 15 words these days. Duck. Quack. Trixie (our dog) Kitty. Uh Oh. NO! Sorry. Stuck. All Gone. Stop. Wee. Shoe. Hi. Bye-Bye. Hot. Blues Clues. Outside.

Carlies favorite words are No, and Sorry. Claire loves to say Stop, Stuck and All Gone.

I cant wait until they start saying full sentences!!

Im So Tired!

YAWN! Im just so tired today! Last night Aaron and I were able to go out to dinner with a few of Aarons guy friends, then go swimming and watch a movie. We didnt get home until after 1am, then Claire decided to wake up RIGHT after I fell asleep. I was up with her until about 4am, then I had Aaron sit with her in the living room and I went back to bed. We ended up not making it to church this morning. The girls both have colds, so we wouldnt have taken them to nursery even if we had gone. I hate missing church though.

We had a great 4th of July. We went swimming over at the Wysons in the morning. The girls cried the minute we got in the water, but after a while Claire got used to it, and had fun. Carlie ended up just sitting on a chair, and was pretty content. After we swam, we took the girls home, took a nap, then went back to the Wysons house for the firework show!! Last year we left the girls at home with my mom, and I kind of wished we had done the same thing this year. Claire just wanted to run around, rather than sitting on our blanket. I think she was the only kid crying. Carlie on the other hand, sat really well, and enjoyed the fireworks. Overall, it was a lot of fun, and we look forward to celebrating the 4th with the Wysons next year!

Our house is ALMOST done! We have the 'walk through' with the Superintendant next Monday! We should be able to start moving in next Tuesday or Wednesday! We are just TOO excited! We took the girls up to the house over the weekend, and they loved running back and forth from the back door to the front door! I can't wait to get moved in!
