Christmas Pictures!

Is it done and over with ALREADY? Christmas came and went too fast this year. We sure had a lot of fun though! Christmas Eve, Grandma Chloe and Grandpa KC came over and brought some cool gifts over for Claire and Carlie. They were only able to stay for a little while, but we sure enjoyed seeing them!

Later Christmas Eve, My parents came over for Aarons Jambalaya dinner! We ate lots of food, and enjoyed opening presents with the twins! We were going to make Gingerbread houses, but everyone was too tired. This is the first year since Aaron and I have been dating that we didnt make Gingerbread houses. :(

Christmas morning, my family came BACK over, and watched the twins open presents from Santa! We also had breakfast and enjoyed hanging out.
After my parents left, we headed over to Aarons dads house for more gift opening and even MORE food.
Carlie and Claire got bikes from Grandpa Paul! They've been having fun riding them all through out the house!
The girls had a lot of fun playing with all their cousins, and we enjoyed spending time with all of our family! Next weekend we will have breakfast with my grandparents, and see my brother Dave and his wife. (Nana and Papa were in Iowa with Grandma Walker, and Dave and Linda were in Utah with Lindas family)

What is everyone doing for New Years??

Our Decorated Tree

We finally decorated our tree! I couldn't find our tree skirt, but when I find it, I'll post a picture of the entire tree! We only broke ONE bulb! It bounced twice, then shattered. The girls LOVE going over to the tree and looking at it. Well, they touch it a LOT. But, for the most part they don't take any of the decorations off the tree.

Happy Holidays!

We took the twins to the Bellagio Conservatory the other day. I love how decorative it is! The girls especially loved the penguins!

Happy Birthday Grandma TINE !!

Every year we celebrate Grandma Valentines Birthday, by helping her decorate her Christmas Tree! Last year the twins just went around taking all the ornaments off the tree. This year they helped put up ornaments, and did a pretty good job of leaving them there!

Sleeping Habits

Every night before I go to bed, I go and check on the twins. This is how I have been finding them the past few nights. They start out in their own beds, but when they actually end up falling asleep, they are right next to each other.

Sharing.

Last night we had some friends over for dinner. (Joey and Cachay) Anyway, Cachay was eating a fruit leather, and had given the twins a small piece. Claire went back up to Cachay for a second piece, and I made Claire say "Please". So, she got a second piece. Carlie saw Claire get seconds, and wanted more as well. So, I tried to have her say "Please". Normally, Carlie will say "please" "thank you" and "your welcome" when I tell her too. But not last night! She was being SO stubborn. She'd walk over to Cachay, glare at that little piece of fruit leather, stare it down, squint her eyes, knowing that ALL she had to do was say please! She did this seriously 6-7 more times. Finally, Claire went over to Cachay, and I said if Claire said please, SHE could have it. So, Claire said please, and got the last piece of fruit leather. What does Claire turn around and do?? She turned around and gave it to Carlie! It was so sweet! If you know Claire, she does NOT share anything!! It was super cute. I love my twins!

Other Fun Pictures!

The twins have been playing in these toy bins ever since they learned how to move. The house will be totally silent, and i'll go looking for them, to find them just sitting in these bins reading!

The twins found an extra scrap of paper, and deicded to pretend to color. They sat like this for a good 10 minutes.
They were playing "Ring around the Rosies" and I told them to hug. So they did.
Yea. Carlie is chillin on the second shelf of our tower shelf thing. We have two of these towers, one on each side of the TV, and one day I walked in the living room to find BOTH girls sitting on the second shelf. Crazy girls.
They LOVE their blankies! This is one of my favorite times of the day. Both girls are sitting still. In one place. Eating a small snack.

I went dark!

I have been debating on dying my hair dark again, and I decided to go dark. Here's the before.

And After.

Thanksgiving

I know, its mid December, and im just NOW posting about Thanksgiving. Better late then never right?? We invited Aarons side of the family (sisters and his mom) over to our house for Thanksgiving. Aaron and his mom did ALL of the cooking, and I even got to stay in bed (thanks to a migraine) It was a lot of fun, but I dont think we will be having it our house again, anytime soon! (Aarons says it was just way too much work!)

Aarons sister Carey, his mom ChloeAnne, his sister Amy, and all the kids.
Claire and Carlie eating tarts.
After everyone left, we headed over to MY grandparents house, to eat another Thanksgiving dinner! My great grandmother was in town, so it was nice to see her. Somehow I forgot to get a picture of her holding the twins. I dont think I got a single picture of her at all this year... :( Anyway, this is Carlie kissing my brother Dave. She's such a sweet heart!
A picture of me, with my 2 favorite men! My husband and my daddy-o!
