10 months

Colton is 10 months!! (may 22)
He is very much on the go!
He loves to cruise the furniture!
He loves to eat. Hates formula. Will only drink juice. Sleeps great. Puts everything in his mouth. Whines when he is told NO. Takes 2 naps a day. Loves our cat. Loves his binkie. Loves to be held by momma. Wears 12m clothing. Loves to play in the bath tub. Makes a bee line straight to the bathroom if we accidentally leave the door open.




















Mum-mums are his favorite snack! Seriously, look at that smile while shoving his snack in his mouth!


He is still working on getting his top teeth. Looks like all 4 are trying to come in at the same time. Still such a happy baby! We love you Colton boy!!

A little random

While on vacation last month, our camera broke. So now all pictures are taken on my phone. But, it kind of makes blogging a little easier, since I've been doing it from my phone as well!




One of the girls favorite things to do is go on bike rides around our neighborhood.



Colton loves to play in the girls room with them! He especially loves their dollhouse!



A few weeks ago we went to Melissas house for dinner. Claire and Carlie LOVE playing with Carter and Allison! They love dressing up in all their fun costumes!



Colton loves watching tv in the playroom!



Colton has been teething for what seems like weeks! It looks like his 4 top teeth are coming in, so he has been drooling a TON! His nose looks orange in all my pictures! I think it's because he's such a messy eater! (most of his baby food is pretty orange!)









I took Colton to the DR again thinking his ear infection wasn't quite cleared up yet, but both ears looked fine, he was just irratable from his teeth. He totally loved ripping up the paper on the bed!






On Friday, the twins kindergarten class went on a nature walk around their school. (there's tons of trails that go through the developments) I went with them and loved it! It was fun seeing them interact with their classmates!






Friday evening, the twins went to a birthday party for a boy in our ward, and he happens to be in their class at school! They talk so much at home about this boy! It's pretty cute! Here they are swatting at the piñata! They had a blast!

A few months ago we switched Colton to a big boy seat! He's just so cute sitting up like a big boy!

Happy Easter!

We had a fabulous Easter!
Saturday we colored Easter eggs, made sugar cookies, and had a brunch with grandma Chloe!
Sunday we went to my parents ward, then went over to Nana and Papas house for Easter dinner!

9 months

Colton is 9 months old!
Colton got his first ear infection this month, which caused him to stop nursing. . Cold Turkey. No warning. Colton has always refused to take a sippy cup, or a bottle, so the week of his nursing strike was a little stressful for me! I had to use a straw to give him liquids. We have finally found a sippy cup that works for him (we tried several different brands! he's a picky kid!) and he drinks soymilk. He hates formula, hates goats milk, I tried pumping, but was only able to get 1 ounce each time I pumped. Oh well.
Colton pulls himself up on just about everything. He still loves his sisters, and they love playing with him. He still eats just about anything I give him. He sleeps great still, most nights 12 hours. He takes 2 naps a day. 1 in the morning, and one the in afternoon. We love having this little guy around!

Part 4

Day 3 of our vacation, we went to Coronado Beach. It was cloudy, windy and COLD. I figured the clouds would burn off as the day went on, but they didnt. In fact, it got even more cloudy, and I think it ended up raining. We only stayed at the beach for a little over an hour.

 Colton loved the sand!

 Aaron and Claire did their normal running into the water thing. Carlie did it once with them, and was done!

 While Carlie,Colton and I played in the sand, Claire and Aaron went searching for sea shells.

 Claire came and played in the sand for a little while.

 After the beach we went back to our hotel, got cleaned up, and went to the San Diego temple to walk around. It is such a beautiful Temple.

 After the Temple we had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen, then went to SeaPort Village, one more time so the girls could ride the Carousel again.

We had such a great time in California and are looking forward to going back to the beach when its a LOT warmer!!

Part 3

 We went on a few rides at SeaWorld as well!

 Colton sat through all the shows, and just loved watching everything that was going on.

We let the girls each pick out a toy from one of the shops in SeaWorld. Claire got a sword (? really?) and a stuffed dolphin to go with the dolphin she got last time we went. Carlie got a purse with a dolphin in it, and a stuffed baby turtle!

We spent a full day at SeaWorld!

I was worried about Colton not being at home to take a nap, but he fell asleep while we were walking around! Woohoo! He slept for 2 hours!

The girls went on the water ride (cant think of the name) and Claire didnt get wet the first time, so they went a second time! They all were SOAKING WET! I lucked out and didnt have to ride the ride, because I had to stay with Colton! If you ask the twins, that was their favorite part of the day!

We had a GREAT day at SeaWorld!
