Weekend in Parowan

Last weekend we went to Parowan with my family.

We went tubing in Cedar City, played in the backyard, drove to Beaver to get squeaky cheese, and ice cream, and tubed some more! Im so glad that my kids love our short trips to the yellow house!

 

 

 

This is the view right out the front door of the yellow house. The mountain in the distance is called Valentine Peak.

 

We've been going to the Cache Valley Dairy Farm for as long as I can remember! I love the Salsa squeaky cheese! And they have the best ice cream! 

All Colton wanted to do was make Snow Angels! This boy just melts my heart!

 

The twins got bored with just regular tubing, so they decided to do some make shift snowboarding! I think they are ready for the real slopes! 

New Port Beach 2014

I personally think winter is too long! When I saw that the temperature had been in the high 70's last week in Newport, we decided to head to the beach real quick! The weather was PERFECT!

 

The kids had a blast playing in the pool at the hotel we stayed at!

 

Colton had to bring all of his Lego guys. He was just sitting quietly on the bed playing, and I thought it was too cute. 

 

Before we headed home on Sunday we stopped and walked around Newport Pier. We even rode around on a 4 passenger bike! Colton hated it, but the girls enjoyed it.

Januray 2014

We go to Target a LOT. The kids make us walk through the toy section every single time. The girls decided to hoolahoop in the middle of the isle.

 

 

Potty training is my least favorite thing to do. BUT little boy boxer briefs are just so dang cute. And the fact that Colton is wearing his sisters boots is just too dang cute! 

 

Claire was selected to be Student of the Week in her class.

 

She wanted to paint her poster with Chevron stripes, and in Pink of course!

 

Carlie had to design a snowman for a project. I think it turned out cute!

 

And this is just me ... Fridays are usually pretty relaxed at work.Gotta find time for a little bit of fun every once in a while! 

 

 

We haven't been to the conservatory at Bellagio in a while!

 

We have been trying to get Colton to sleep in his own bed ... I think he just likes to have someone to snuggle with! I found him in bed with the twins the other night. All three looked so comfy! 

 

Happy 2014!

 

We had my family over to celebrate the New Year. We had lots of food, played games, did a Pinata with the kids! We all had a great time, and look forward to this tradition each year.
