Sunday Dessert

Isn't this the cutest  little ice cream cone you've ever seen?? It's the size of chapstick! And under 100 calories!

Water Park

We took the girls to the water park yesterday. Last year the girls HATED it! A few weeks ago we took the girls to the splash pad at Town Square, and they wanted nothing to do with the water. But, I figured maybe they would like it this time, and after a little while they FINALLY had fun! Claire kept saying "I like it now!". Carlie was pretty hesitant at first, but after Claire showed her how to play in it, she had a blast! And of course, I took a billion pictures! We will be going to the park quite often this summer!

Memorial Day

This morning we went swimming with the girls. We totally need to get these two fish into swim lessons! They love the water! The weather was perfect, and the pool felt great!

Weekend in Parowan

We went up to Parowan over the weekend, to help Aarons grandparents and Dad plant their garden! The girls have been talking about digging in the dirt, and planting seeds, and covering the seeds for WEEKS! They finally were able to do that! The weather totally sucked while we were there! It rained most of the time, and it was chilly! The sun finally made its appearance the morning that we left! We still had a great time, and will be making many more trips up there this summer. Here are a few ( and by a few, I mean a TON, of pictures!)

The beginnings of the garden. Straighting out the sprinkler system

Aarons cousins planting tomatoes. I eventually got in there and planted some.

Carlie planting corn.

Claire putting a few seeds in too!

Aaron and Carlie packing down the soil.

We planted tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, peppers, eggplant, habenero, corn, and I think zuccini?

When we werent planting stuff, we played!
Carlie counting to 10, while Claire went and hid. They love hide-n-go-seek!

There were tons of Rolly Poly's. The girls thought it was hillarious to poke them, and watch the poor bugs roll up.

We took a walk, and I thought this was so cute. Claire loves her daddy!

Its A ....

BOY!

Spencer joined our family today! Its kind of a funny story. I went with my sister to go pick up my parents dog from the vet, and this cute little 6 week old Kitty was available for adoption. I knew the girls would just LOVE him, so I decided to take him home! Im not sure how happy my husband is, but the girls sure do love him!

I named him Spencer because he came from the Spencer Spring Animal Hospital...

Isnt he cute?!

Just in case there is any confusion, NO I am NOT pregnant!

San Diego Day 3: Sea World!

This was our SeaWorld day. We went right when it opened, and it wasnt that busy. In fact, most of the day I felt like we were the only ones in the park, until we went to a show. We were smart and brought the twins stroller. I dont think the girls would have survived all 8 hours in the park with out the stroller!
Here are the girls with their maps headed into SeaWorld.

Me and the girls in the Polar Bear cave.

The girls lookin at the Flamingos

We got to feed the Seals at Rocky Mountain Point, and I started throwing fish to these seals, and when I stopped they started yelling at me! (the seals, not Sea World employees) It was hillarious!

Claire feeding the seals through the little feeding tube. Its safer that way!

Carlie on the other hand, was brave and tried to throw a fish to the seals. But, a bird swooped down and got the fish out of her hand before she could throw it! The bird also bit a little bit of her finger! She was pretty upset about it! The picture isnt great, because I ducked! But I find it hillarious!

The girls and I waiting at the Shamu show.

The twins got to pick ONE toy when we left SeaWorld. Carlie picked a Polar Bear, and Claire wanted a Dolphin.

Our Vacation was SO much fun! The girls behaved SO well, they were great in our Hotel, and they were even really good in the car rides too and from. I cant wait to go back to the beach! Claire keeps telling us how much she likes the water, and Carlie mentions that mean bird that bit her hand almost everyday! Thanks Aaron for making it possible for us to go on such a fun vacation!!

San Diego day 2 : Coronado Beach

We got up early and headed out to Coronado Beach! We were one of the first few people on the beach! We even got a great parking spot! It was a BEAUTIFUL day!

Aaron and Claire spent most of the morning running to the ocean and back! Carlie wasnt a huge fan of the water, but Claire totally loved it!

Carlie and I hanging out in our awesome tent/shade thing.

Claire found SO many sea shells! She was freezing cold, but never stopped looking for shell.s

We picked this tent up a few weeks ago, and seriously, it was the best $30 i've ever spent! It was great!

When we first got to the beach, this guy set up his little area and starting making a sand castle. This was the finished product! After he was done, he just left! We tried to get the girls to look at the camera, but that didnt happen!

After the beach, we went back to our hotel, got showered and rested, then headed back out! We are a little crazy! We went over to SeaPort Village to ride the carousel. We got in, paid the guy, the girls picked out these white horses, and after about 30 seconds, they decided they wanted OFF! They did NOT like how tall the horses were. So, the girls chose a nice bench that didnt move to sit on! We rode the carousel in a bench! Who does that?! Oh well...

There was a nice group of teenagers that wanted a photo all together, so Aaron and I were nice enough to take about 8 pictures for them! In return, one of them took a picture of us!

It was the Red Bull Air Race weekend while we were there, and these planes were doing some practice runs through the course. It was pretty crazy!

After we left SeaPort Village, we drove over to LaJolla where the sealion cove is.
