from my phone.

I have over 1600 photos in my phone!

This was just a few days ago. Colton LOVES to have a blanket up by his face. When he's super tired he will rub his face with his blanket. totally cute.

Tonight I was needing to get some stuff done around the house. Colton wanted to be held, and Claire offered to hold him! He was totally fine just chillin with Claire!

Christmas 2010

This year Christmas wasnt so hectic! Christmas Eve, Aarons dad came over, and we opened gifts from him, and Grandma and Grandpa Tine. Then after they left, we headed over to my grandparents for dinner. Dinner was great as always. After dinner we opened gifts.
Earlier in the week we took Claire and Carlie out to buy eachother a gift, and this is what they picked out for eachother! Claire got Carlie a Dr. set.

And Carlie got Claire a Littlest Pet Shop stuffed animal.
(I think they picked out something THEY wanted! But, Carlie wanted to buy Claire a Dr set as well.)
 Colton Boy with his Papa!

5 Generations! Claire and Carlie, Me, my Mom, Nana, and Great Grandma Walker!

After we had dessert, Papa wanted us to sing 'White Christmas' together. He also wanted to video tape it. We did not practice. I am anxious to see how it turned out. We ended up singing it twice. We were all just ready to go home by this point, it was late, babies were crying, we were all tired. I'll have to get a copy of the video.
Aaron and I stayed up till after 2am getting ready for 'Santa'. The girls were nice, and slept in till 7:30am!
Claire and Carlie asked for Pillow Pets a week before Christmas! Im sure glad Santa was able to add those to the list! They are one of the twins favorite things they got!
Colton and I. He loved playing with the wrapping paper! It all went directly into his mouth. I should have gotten a picture of that!
 Family picture!

After we opened gifts, I made French Toast. We let the girls play for a bit, Aaron and I napped, then headed over to Aarons dads house for brunch. The girls enjoyed playing with their cousins. After we went to Aarons dads, we went next door to Aarons sisters house, to open presents with the cousins.
We sure enjoy having our families close by, and we are really lucky to be able to spend the holidays with them!

5 Months

Oh my Colton boy! He is one LOVED baby!
Colton loves to put stuff in his mouth! hands, feet, blankets, stuffed animals, my hair, you name it, it goes in his mouth!

When Colton gets tired he rubs his blankie over his face/eyes. He also does this while he eats. Most of the time he likes it to cover his face.
Colton is the happiest little guy i've ever met. He rarely cries. He is just so good!
Colton learned how to roll over Nov 26th. He doesnt love it, but the more toys we put around him, the happier he is.
Colton has lost a bit of hair. He even has that bald spot! He needs a haircut!
Colton really likes these binkies. Can you see his smile behind the binkie?! I usually yank it out because I figure he's happy and doesnt need it! He is so smiley and talkative without it in his mouth!
See? Much better. No binkie! Sometimes Colton sucks his thumb, and I quickly switch his thumb out for his binkie. But he gets sneaky on me! he covers his thumb with his blanket so it just looks like his blanket is in his mouth, but actually its his thumb!

Once in a while Colton gets bored, or a starts fussing when he's tired and we get this pouty face! How cute is that?

Colton is getting better at sitting up. He doesnt sit up totally on his own yet, but I know he will soon!

Colton is still a great eater and sleeper. He goes to bed around 7:30-8:00 most nights. After I feed him, sometimes he is still awake, I'll still lay him down, and he falls asleep on his own. He wakes up around 4am to eat again, and i'll just bring him to bed with me, and he'll sleep till 7 or 8am, eat again, go back to sleep till almost 9 most days. Coltons doesnt really have a nap schedule during the day, mainly because I work 3 days during the week, and then the other days we are either running errands, going to church, or just at home. Its never consistent. He just takes a nap whenever he can! When I started working Colton started to refuse the bottle! Which is ok, I only work 3 hours at a time, so I feed him right before I leave, and right when I get home. I've fed him rice cereal a few times. He doesnt love it, but doesnt hate it either.
Colton LOVES Claire and Carlie! he loves all of the attention they give him!
We sure do enjoy Colton, he really is a good baby, and pretty cute!

Coltons Blessing

We finally blessed the manchild! :)

(what in the HECK is up with my hair?!?!)

Anyway, the blessing was beautiful, and im so blessed to have Colton in my life. That boy brings me so much joy. In the mornings when he wakes up, he just squeals with delight! I get so giddy walking in to get him! He just melts my heart! I couldnt have asked for a happier, healthier baby. I love you Colton boy!

Snowmen!

I love decorating for Christmas. Over the years we have collected a few Snowmen! Here are some of my favorite decorations.

We just got Coltons stocking in the mail today. I was a little bummed that Pottery Barn didnt have the same one we got the twins, but I think his is still cute, and kinda goes with the striped theme we have. (his is in the middle) One of these days i'll get the kids names on the stockings.

And here are our snowmen decorations!
I just love this little Snowman family!

 Snowmen picture holders.
Snowmen tree skirt. (gotta love the pine needles all over the floor!)

What are some of your favorite Christmas decorations? What do you collect?

O Christmas Tree!

We got our Christmas Tree up right after Thanksgiving. We have had a fake tree for the past 7 years! This year, we wanted to go cut a tree down in Parowan, but with my work schedule, it didnt happen, so we went to lowes instead and picked out a live tree. Not the same experience, BUT, it still smells fab!

Last year, Aaron got these UNLV oranaments, and they are awesome! We LOVE UNLV Basketball, and these look great on our tree.
 Coltons first Christmas!
 Our fireplace.
I ordered a stocking for Colton yesterday, Im so excited to get it in the mail!
We collect Snowmen. I'll have to dedicate an entire post to all of our cute little snowmen decorations!

Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving was wonderful as always. We had dinner at my grandparents house. That was the only place we HAD to be, so it was kinda nice to not have to rush around to 3 different houses and eat 3 HUGE meals. But, It felt weird not to see any other family. I think id rather be able to see ALL our families, rather than just one. Who knows, maybe next year we will get to see Aarons side of the family.

Our family of 5. It takes much effort to get a picture of all 5 of us!

The table. It looked beautiful!
 Carlie and Claire

Carlie and I being silly, waiting for dinner to be ready.

Lindsey entertaining Colton

David and Linda. (Sweet baby Abigail joined the family last Sunday!)

Claire and her Papa!

Kim playing with the twins.
Great Grandma Walker came to town right before Thanksgiving. Its SO nice to see her, and chat with her. We are lucky to have her here in Vegas all winter long! Its too cold for her back in Iowa. Im excited for the extra time with her this year.

Kim trying to teach Carlie how to tie a bow.
