28 Weeks

Here I am. 28 weeks. My stomach feels so tight all the time. I feel like im going to burst open at any moment! Especially when I sneeze. Sneezing hurts! Its like my lungs dont have any extra space to expand, so I feel like I cant take a deep breath. Sleeping has become pretty uncomfortable too. I am a stomach sleeper. Sleeping on my sides just doesnt cut it! I think the baby is still breeched. He moves around a LOT, which I love!

I have a huge list of things that still need to be done before he gets here! But, we are so excited nonetheless!

Claire

Claire has been pretty good at helping out around the house. She even asked to load the dishwasher today! She is going to be such an awesome big sister!!

My cousin Melissa and her cute family were here in town this week, and we were able to hang out with them! The twins and Carter get along pretty well! Grandpa Olds caught a lady bug, and put it in a little container, and the kids laughed and played with it for quite a while! They thought it was hilarious!

When it was time to go, we tried to get a picture of all 4 kiddos. It was HARD! Grandpa kept making funny faces, and the kids looked at him rather than at the camera!
Grandpa was teaching the kids how to do Bunny Ears ...

And FINALLY! I got a picture of Melissa and I! Melissa is my absolute best friend, and my favorite person! I just love her! She moved to Arizona a couple years ago, and we sure miss having her and her family here! Aaron and her husband Adam get along really well too. Im so glad we were able to spend some time with them!

Hair Cutters

Sometimes when I ask the girls what they want to be when they grow up, they say a 'hair cutter'. So everyonce in a while they ask to play with my hair. Here are a few pictures of the process of them doing my hair! Claire was in charge of cutting, and Carlie was curling my hair! It was really funny!

Meet 'Cuppy'

Every morning before Carlie goes to school, she asks me to take good care of her little stuffed puppy named Cuppy. She then gives me a list of instructions on how to take 'good care' of Cuppy.
When Cuppy "yawns' I am to put Cuppy in her bed. When she stops yawning, I can feed her.

Then when she is done eating, I am to play ball with her.

Those were my instructions this morning. Some mornings I TOTALLY forget, and Cuppy will be in the exact same spot where Carlie left her before school. She notices, and I get in trouble for not taking good care of her!

Corn Creek

Over the weekend, we took the girls to a place called Corn Creek. Its out by Mt. Charleston, but on the East side of the 95. There was a little picnic area, then there is a trail that goes around a pond, and a stream that flows around the area as well. It wasnt as pretty as I thought it was going to be, but the girls still had fun!

Pregnancy Stuff

This pregnancy seems to be going by super fast! I am still feeling really good. I get the worst heartburn from bagels and cream cheese, but not from spicy food. I get sharp pain in my right hip occasionally, but it usually goes away if I lay down and rest for a while. I also get really light headed sometimes. Other than that, I feel totally fine! Little guy is breached still, and sits really low. Luckily he's not kicking my ribs, but he dances on my bladder.

This is me at 22 weeks

and this is me today, 24 weeks and 5 days. Im lucky enough to still be able to wear my regular jeans. And thank goodness for Down East being so close. I just grab bigger size shirts as needed! I love their cami's!

I had a follow up Perinatologist appointment this morning. They were concerned about 2 bright spots on little guys heart, but everything looks perfectly fine, and I will no longer need to see the Perinatologists! Thank goodness! Those visits are crazy expensive! (even with insurance!)
Here is litte guys profile. His legs are curled up as usual. He was in this same position 6 weeks ago! He weighs about 1lb 9oz right now, so he's right on track with his weight! yay!

As far as names go, we think we like the name Colton. Cole or Colt for short. (I prefer Cole, Aaron likes Colt)

Big Cat

Did I mention we got rid of the black cat Spencer that I got earlier last year? No? Well, one day, after Spencer decided to pee in just about every room in our house (DISGUSTING, i know!) I got rid of him. We still have big cat, and ever since we got rid of Spencer, this guy has been SO lovey. He used to be such an antisocial cat, and now he actually comes out and plays. Its kinda cute.

Happy Easter!

Our Easter plan were pretty low key this year. We didnt decorate eggs, and I didnt even mention the Easter bunny to the girls this year. (personally, I think the whole Easter bunny is just stupid) We DID still do baskets, and I hid eggs. The girls had so much fun finding their eggs!

After our quick Easter, we got ready for my parents to come over for our traditional Danish Pancake breakfast for General Conference.
After breakfast, we got everything cleaned up and headed over to Aarons sisters house, to celebrate Easter with his mom and sisters. I dont have any pictures from there, but the girls LOVE playing with their cousins!
After lunch with Aarons family, we went over to my grandparents house, and had Easter dinner over there. It was a BUSY day, filled with TONS of food!

Huntington Beach

Friday morning we headed out to Huntington beach. The weather was MUCH better than earlier in the week! The girls had a blast playing with Carter and Allison!

Claire and Aaron out looking for shells.

Carlie likes to stay on the beach and play in the sand.

Claire LOVES running in the water, and running back out. She would do that the entire time if we let her!

Disneyland!

Thursday morning we got up bright and early and headed to Disneyland! It had rained the night before, so it was pretty chilly! Luckily the sun was shining!

We went on Dumbo first, just to make sure the girls were ok with the rides. THEY LOVED IT!

This picture cracks me up. Aaron was trying to get Claire excited, and I just happened to snap a picture!

a+Trip+014.JPG">After Dumbo, we went on the TeaCups. The girls LOVED spinning us super fast.

Aaron looks a little dizzy!! The girls got us going pretty fast!
We rode the Carousel. Which the girls loved. (we tried to ride a Carousel in San Diego last year, and the girls hated it!)

Funny story about Storybook Land ... we had been talking about going on Its a Small World, and then saw that the line for Storybook Land was super short. Somehow we thought it was the line for Its a Small World ... nope, we got on Storybook land.

Did you know there is a little petting zoo at Disneyland? I had no idea!

We got our Turkey Leg for lunch. It seriously fed all 4 of us. And it was delicious! We found a shaded spot, and sat down and ate our Turkey leg and some corn on the cob.

ACZo/cBSZEbyenbk/s320/California+Trip+057.JPG"> After lunch we headed back to our Hotel for a nap. We all slept, and went back to the park totally rejuvinated! I totally recommend breaking up your day at Disneyland into two parts if you can.
On our way back into the park, I made the girls take a picture on the C.

We told the girls they could pick out ONE thing from one of the shops at Disneyland. Claire picked out Princess ears, and Carlie got Minnie ears! Claire wears her ears every single day!
We watched the Parade.

The girls got the cute little drums to drum on during the parade!

We went on a few more rides, and sat and waited (and waited and waited) for the fireworks! It was FREEZING, and so crowded, but the girls didnt seem to mind.
