Park Fun!

Today I met up at the park with my SIL Carey and her boy Joshua. The girls had SO much fun! I have to admit, Im a little nervous when the girls are at the park. Im always afraid of them falling, but today, the girls did so well! Carlie of course was just fine with running around for the first part. Claire found her slide, and made about 20 rounds before she found the 'rock climbing' stairs. Claire was going up those stairs like a pro! It totally scared me, but neither of the girls fell! Claire even went down the BIG slide with Aunt Carey, the decided she could do it on her own! She went down probably 25 times! Carlie found a smaller slide, and made a few rounds on it! Finally, we decided to swing, and Claire wanted to sit on the big kid swing. CRAZY GIRL! She sat on the swing, and held on like a champ! I was finally able to talk her into sitting in the little kid swing, and I was able to relax for a minute!

Im thinking we will go back next Monday and play. Who wants to come?!

'Yee Haw' and the Drums.

Last night we were at my SIL's house, to give my nephew a blessing. Afterwards the girls played a little. The girls loved playing on the rocking horse, a.k.a 'yee haw'. Claire also found the drum set, and was using bowling pins for drum sticks. Rock On!

Carlie and Claire really enjoyed this months issue of Williams & Sonoma. They were really excited for all the Easter stuff. They sat like this for quite a while!

(This is going to be a tad bit RANDOM!)

Nothing too exciting is happening at our house. I decided to quit working for the company I was working for. So i've been at home with the twins all week. Its been fun, but a LOT of work! I have gotten caught up on most my 'chores'. I've actually had time to put away laundry! I have found its pretty pointless trying to clean up after the girls while they are awake. I decided that I was cleaning up the same messes many time in one afternoon. I think its time to teach the girls how to clean up their own toys ...

This week Aaron and I went to Macayos, the UNLV basketball game, and LUV ITs with my brother and his wife. We had a great time, and I really enjoy their company! I did however decide that I DONT like the cheap seats at the T&M. I'll not buy Soda for a week, so we can buy the not $12 seats! (Im such a snob sometimes...)

Yesterday I got to go shopping with my friend Raina and her baby Beckah. We went to the Fashion Show mall. I dont really like that mall! Its too big, and you have to use so many elevators. I got some cute pants for the girls @ Childrens Place. And I bought the stuff I needed from Clinique.

Last night my parents and sister Kim came over for our Friday Night hang out. They brought Pick Up Sticks for dinner! I love Chinese food.

Today I have been cleaning all day, and cant wait for Aaron to come home from work. (He's been working for both Bellagio, AND Las Vegas Parking this week. I havent really seen him since Wednesday morning!)

Oh, Ghostland Observatory came out with a new Album this week. I havent had the chance to listen to it, but I hear its pretty good.

The twins are SO excited for the release of 101 Dalmations on Tuesday!

- Things most people dont know about me: I hate to speak/sing in large groups of people. I hate cleaning. I cant roll my R's. Im very logical. I've read the 'Twilight Series' 3 times, but I havent read the 7th Harry Potter book.

Getting pictures of the twins is SO hard! Neither of them sit still. Well, they do, just not at the same time! Carlie (the one on the right, in the shirt with the stripes) makes some of the FUNNIEST faces! Seriously, that kid is hillarious!

My brother Dave and his wife Linda live on the other side of the world! Ok, its just across town, but we dont get to see him as often as we would like. Claire and Carlie LOVE Dave and Linda. They think Dave is a jungle gym ... We love you Dave and Linda!

How long have you been together? Almost 7 years.

How long did you date? We dated for 4 months before we got engaged, then we were engaged for a little over a year.

Who can sing better? I can. I have a very vocally talented family, him, not so much! :)

Who is smarter?? Hmm, I am going to have to say HE is.

Who does the laundry? I do. He usually puts his stuff away though.

Who pays the bills? He does. I used to, but he is much better at it!

Who mows the lawn? We dont have a lawn at the moment!

Who cooks dinner? Aaron cooks pretty much all the time. He really enjoys cooking, so I let him.

Who drives? He does. I am a great driver, but he always drives.

Who kissed who first? This is debatable. He swears I kissed him, but really, he kissed me!

Who has more friends? He has the most BEST friends. I have quite a few friends, but his friends are like brothers.

Who has more siblings? I do. I have 4 brothers and sisters, and he has 2 sisters.

Who wears the pants? He does! I just tell him what pair to wear! ;)

Who does the dishes? I do most of the time, but he does them a lot.

Who is more likely to admit when they are wrong? We are both pretty good at admitting when we are wrong.

Why do you love your husband? I love Aaron because he puts up with all my crap! I always say he got the short end of the deal by marrying me! Aaron is a GREAT Father, he totally loves hanging out with the twins. They adore him! Aaron makes me laugh all the time! He's just great!

Fun at the Park!

Its been SO nice outside this week, so we took the twins to the Mission Hills park yesterday. Claire LOVED going down the slide! Carlie, not so much. But Carlie just enjoyed running around with her purple ball.

Aarons Grandparents have a house in Parowan that doesnt get used all winter long, (actually they are only there a few weeks in the summer) Anyway, we go up every year and play in the snow. This year the twins were old enough to really know that we were going to play in the snow and had been talking about building snowmen all month! My parents, and 2 of my sisters came also, we had a blast! Here are some pictures!

Aaron and I on the slopes! We decided to go night boarding. It was only $12, from 3:30 - 9pm. The weather was great, and we were able to get a few good runs down the mountain before it got too cold. This was my first time EVER snowboarding ... I think I did ok. On my first run down the mountain, I fell pretty bad, and got the wind knocked out of me! But after that I did better. Dont get me wrong, I still spent more time falling than actually snowboarding, but I had a blast!

Keri and I taking a little rest... jk, we both fell, this is where we spent most of our time! Trying to get back up! My arms, shoulders and neck are SOOOOOOO stinkin sore! We wore wrist gaurds, but my wrists still hurt pretty bad! We had a great time, and I look forward to going snowboarding more often!

We left a little later than usual on Sunday, and it started snowing really bad as we were loading up the cars. It took 2 hours to get from Parowan, to St George! There was a ton of snow in St. George even! It was nuts!
