San Diego day 2 : Coronado Beach

We got up early and headed out to Coronado Beach! We were one of the first few people on the beach! We even got a great parking spot! It was a BEAUTIFUL day!

Aaron and Claire spent most of the morning running to the ocean and back! Carlie wasnt a huge fan of the water, but Claire totally loved it!

Carlie and I hanging out in our awesome tent/shade thing.

Claire found SO many sea shells! She was freezing cold, but never stopped looking for shell.s

We picked this tent up a few weeks ago, and seriously, it was the best $30 i've ever spent! It was great!

When we first got to the beach, this guy set up his little area and starting making a sand castle. This was the finished product! After he was done, he just left! We tried to get the girls to look at the camera, but that didnt happen!

After the beach, we went back to our hotel, got showered and rested, then headed back out! We are a little crazy! We went over to SeaPort Village to ride the carousel. We got in, paid the guy, the girls picked out these white horses, and after about 30 seconds, they decided they wanted OFF! They did NOT like how tall the horses were. So, the girls chose a nice bench that didnt move to sit on! We rode the carousel in a bench! Who does that?! Oh well...

There was a nice group of teenagers that wanted a photo all together, so Aaron and I were nice enough to take about 8 pictures for them! In return, one of them took a picture of us!

It was the Red Bull Air Race weekend while we were there, and these planes were doing some practice runs through the course. It was pretty crazy!

After we left SeaPort Village, we drove over to LaJolla where the sealion cove is.

San Diego Day 1

Last week we headed out to San Diego for a much needed family vacation! We stopped at Mission Beach to show the twins the ocean, and to see if we wanted to come back to that beach the next day. We walked along the beach until a huge wave came in and got us pretty wet! The girls were NOT happy about getting wet! But it was pretty funny!

Me and Carlie

Me and the girls.

After we left Mission Beach, we went to the San Diego Temple to walk around the grounds.

The girls LOVED all of the pretty flowers. These flowers in particular had a bunch of slugs on them! It was kinda neat. The girls sure got a kick out of them!

The beautiful California sunset!

And of course the San Diego Temple!

After the Temple we went to CPK for dinner. The couple in the booth next to us had just found out they were having identical twins, and bought our twins dessert! It was really sweet of them! I didnt get a picture of dinner though...

Next up : Coronado beach!

Mt. Charleston

We went up to Mt. Charleston to have a picnic! The weather was a little warm in town, but when we got up to the Mtn, it was a little chilly! I should have brought jackets! The girls didnt seem to mind though. Aaron took the girls for a little hike while I stayed and relaxed in the sun! I LOVE the age the girls are. They are so excited to do fun things, and they are SUCH troopers!

Will Someone Call Me a WHAAA-Ambulance?!?!

The girls have been kinda sick this week. They've been waking up SEVERAL times during the night, needing a sippy cup, or needing help finding their blankies, or help going potty, or just getting up to try to come sleep with me. Waking up 5 million times a night MAKES ME EVEN MORE TIRED!! And now im sick. My head hurts. My throat hurts, my ears hurt, and im just TIRED!! My house is hot because I REFUSE to turn on my AC! THANKFULLY Aaron is off tonight, and he can help out with the girls.

On a good note, I got my hair hi-lighted last night, and it turned out EXACTLY how I wanted! (Thanks Cachay!)

And the cashier at Walmart carded me today while buying Tylenol Cold. She said I didnt look much older than 18. SWEET!

Funnies.

The girls were playing in my closet this is a little conversation they just had.

Carlie: What are you doing?
Claire: Shhh, be quiet.
Carlie: Why? Is this a library??

Carlie says some of the FUNNIEST things. Most of the time its just one liners, such as.

"What did I miss?"
or when she's in troubly sitting in time out she'll be crying saying "But I still LOVE you mom!"
or, she says "Thats not FAIR" and "You cant DO that!" again, when she is getting in trouble.

Carlie has this little plastic bird that came in a Noahs Ark toy. She carries this bird around EVERYWHERE. She puts it to bed at night in one of the play houses, she wakes it up in the morning ... I think it even goes to time out!

Easter!

We had a great Easter! I took a ton of pictures, and I always have a hard time deciding which ones to post ... so there are a ton of pictures on this blog! Sorry!

We got up around 7 so the girls could find their Easter eggs. I dont really want to make a huge deal about the Easter bunny, so I didnt even mention a bunny this year. The girls just understood this is what they got for Easter.

Before church, I took some pictures of the girls in their pretty dresses! Claire picked these sunglasses out, and wanted to wear them! She's too cute!

Carlie looks so much bigger than Claire!

Aaron picked the shoes out!

This picture just makes me laugh a little. Im laughing in the picture because the dog wouldnt get out of the way, and Carlie is giving one of her famous silly faces...

After church we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Tines house. They got the girls these cute little bunny rabbits!

After visiting the Valentines, we went over to my grandparents house for dinner. The girls got bubbles in their baskets, they couldnt wait to blow bubbles with my sisters!

Keri is moving to WASHINGTON this week, so here's a picture of her and the girls. We are going to miss her like crazy!

I hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

Hanging out at J's Baseball game.

We went to my nephews baseball tournament this week! I LOVE Baseball, and we have been wanting to go to one of our nephews games FOREVER! The twins were perfectly happy playing on the bleachers! It was crazy windy out, but it was still fun. J man played great!! I cant wait for more baseball games!

Decorating Easter Eggs!

Earlier this week the girls got to dye Easter eggs with all of their cousins! The girls totally enjoyed decorating their eggs, and playing with the boys, and lizzie. I love that we are close with Aarons sisters. My girls LOVE their cousins, and look forward to hanging out with them! Thanks Carey for letting us come over!

THANKFULLY all of the dye washed off of their hands. I was starting the freak out a little when the little bit that got on my hands didnt come off right away... I was trying to think how I could hide their dirty hands in pictures for Easter!

General Conference Tradition.

For as long as I can remember, every conference session, my family gets together, and we have Danish Pancakes and Orange Juilus! I really enjoy helping my mom make the pancakes, David and Linda are usually on Orange Julius duty, and everyone else sets the table, and plays with the twins. It is one of my favorite traditions that my family has!

Here are some pictures!
