Colton has been talking a ton lately. He says some pretty funny things. For example:
While holding his hand out to me (like talk to the hand sort of way) he said "relax mom, ok"
When something doesn't go quite right, he shouts "seriously?!"
When I tell Colton not to do something, like jump off the couch, or stand in the table, he just shouts "why?!" Over and over.
He's going to be a fun one!

Halloween!
I love this time of year, I just dont love Halloween. I do love carving pumpkins though! This year we planted some pumpkins in Parowan, and they grew to be about 75lbs each! HUGE right?! We invited Keri and Joey to come carve pumpkins with us.
Tuesday night we had our ward Trunk or Treat. Claire went as a Cat, Carlie pulled a last minute switch on me, and decided she didnt want to wear her witch costume, so she was Jasmine, Colton went as a hunter.
The girls had a blast walking with their friends from school! We were done with Trunk or Treating in less than an hour, and got home for bed at a reasonable time!
Our school doesnt allow kids to wear their costumes to school (thank goodness!) But they were able to wear Halloween colors!
Claire stayed in her Cat costume for Halloween night, sadly, Carlie started to not feel well at school, and was really not feeling well when it came time to go Trick or Treating.
Carlie, Colton and I stayed home. Carlie looked and felt so sick! (I ended up taking Carlie and Colton to the Dr, Colton has an ear infection, and Carlie and I both have strep throat!)
Earlier in October I saw an idea on Pinterest, called "The Switch Witch"! Basically, you chose a few pieces of candy to keep, and you put the rest in your bucket, and the Switch Witch comes, collects your candy, and gives you a new toy! I thought this was awesome, so I got the kids on board, and they LOVED it!!!! It was a huge success! And we have NO candy left in the house! woohoo!

October
Another long update post.
Colton is usually hard to keep entertained at church, but he was really good this Sunday! He just sat on the floor and played with his cars!I didnt have to take him out in to the hallway at all!
Carlie, Abigail and Claire! Abi kept telling the girls to "sit down" so they could take a picture!
These are 2 of the HUGE pumpkins we grew in the garden in Parowan! They each weighed 75lbs!
Colton had a cough that just sounded awful, so I took him to the doctor, and found out he had bronchiolitis. He ended up needing a breathing treatment right in the office. He had been sleeping so horribly and was super tired, he ended up falling asleep DURING his breathing treatment! I thought that was crazy because the nebulizer is loud! He had to have 2 breathing treatments a day for a few weeks.
The twins had soccer pictures, and I snapped this one behind their photographer.
And I just took these screen shots from the website of the pictures I ordered! I think they turned out super cute!
Oh man. One afternoon after I got home from work, Colton was sitting on the floor playing with something, then a few minutes later he kept saying "help! help" He stuck something up his nose, and couldnt breath out of that nostril! So, I called up his pediatricians office, and scheduled a quick visit. (seriously, I called, had an appointment for 15 minutes later, and was in and out of the office in 15 minutes!) he stuck part of a sticky hand thingy up his nose. Little stinker!
Colton wanted to ride on Carlie's back, I told him no, but Carlie said her back had been "lazy" and it needed the workout! Ha! That girl says some of the funniest stuff!
Basketball season is almost here!! The Rebels had their "First Look" and we took the kids!
Dessert at Yogurtland!
Carlie and Claire have been begging to put up Halloween decorations, so we got some spiderwebs for our bushes out front.
Tuesday we didnt have school, so we went to the Barlow's to make Spooky houses!
Colton got new footsie jammies! So cute! And that look he's giving me? It happens all the time!
We needed a few things from Bass Pro shops, so we all went, and of course we had to stop and look at the fish!
Grandpa Olds is in the hospital, so since we are all finally feeling better, we headed out to go visit grandma, and Aaron went and saw grandpa in the hospital.

September
I hate that I am so far behind on blogging, and I hate doing these super long monthly updates, but its just the quickest way to get it done! This is what we did in September!
One of Colton's favorite things to do is get the squirt bottle that I use for the twins hair, and spray water every where, including his mouth. He thinks its hilarious, I do not!
With the kids in school now, Linda and I took Colton and Abigail to a splash pad up by there house! Those 2 are so fun to watch together! They are only 4 months apart, so its really fun to watch them play together!
Taking a little snack break!
After the park, we headed to Target for a few things. These 2 looked so cute in the big cart together! It felt like I had twins all over again!
Soccer season has started up again! Yay!
I love watching the girls play! Its so fun to watch them progress each week!
Aaron and I went out for a friends Birthday party! We dont get to go out often, so its always nice when we actually DO get out!
Aunt Linda made the twins these super cute flower headbands, and the twins have wanted to wear them to school just about every day! They are so cute!
Holding the girls back in 1st grade again has been the best decision we could have made! They are doing SO well in school this year! Carlie's teacher said that Carlie is confident in class, raises her hand and is so willing to help the other students! Claire is also showing confidence, and helps out with other kids! This makes me so happy to hear! And their grades are showing that they are doing well!
Homework gets a little crazy sometimes! Colton likes to be up in everyones business!
Oh Colton boy! I turned my back for 2 minutes, and this little boy unlocked our back door and headed out to the swing set! He is FOR SURE going to keep me busy!
Another soccer game! Claire scored 3 goals, and Carlie scored the other 2!
This is what a lazy day looks like around our house. Claire was laying on me playing with an ipad, and Carlie was on the other side of the couch on the other ipad. They love playing learning games, and watching different movies on Netflix.
Colton and Abigail were playing the piano together at Nana and Papas house! Seriously, these two are just so fun to watch play together!
Colton LOVES to be right next to me when im sitting down. He also loves having his picture taken! We had quite the fun photo shoot! Aaron says we have the same lips!
It was twin day at school, so Claire and Carlie dressed the same! Every day is twin day at our house!
One of the things that the girls look forward to each year is the schools Family Fall Festival! Its always fun to see all of the families out with their kids, and the kids love seeing their teachers outside of the classroom!
These girls ROCK at hula hooping. They hula hooped for a good 5 minutes before the workers just decided to give them each a prize!
Claire LOVES the monkey bars!
The twins were so excited to get their faces painted!
