Happy Halloween!

Carlie wanted to be Jasmine from Aladdin, and Claire wanted to be Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

Carlie told me exactly how to do her hair! Claire let me do what I wanted with her hair.

 Colton and I stayed at the house, and passed out candy. Claire and Carlie went Trick or Treating with the Barlows!

Trick or Treating

With Halloween being on Sunday this year, I hadnt planned on letting the girls Trick or Treat on Halloween. Our ward was having a Halloween party, and Trunk or Treat, and I figured that would be plenty. BUT,  I misread the time of the ward party, and we were late. Really late. Like Trunk or Treating was finished by the time we got there late. I felt HORRIBLE. The girls were still able to see their friends and participate in a few of the activities going on inside the church, but when we were getting ready to leave they were SO upset that they didnt get to Trunk or Treat. I felt so bad. So, I let the girls go Trick or Treating on a Sunday. Aaron took the girls up to his sisters house (they only live 2 miles away now!) and they had dinner, and then went Trick or Treating. Colton and I stayed home, because he has been a little congested, and I wanted to keep him inside. The girls had a blast, and looked so dang cute this year!

Every year we carve pimpkins with the Wysons. Its a lot of fun now that our kiddos are getting bigger!

3 Months

Oh Colton boy! Colton is now 3 months old. I cant believe it! He is still such a great baby. He sleeps through the night (most nights) takes a decent amount of naps during the day. He still nurses like a champ. I havent taken him for a well check yet, but im pretty sure he weighs a good 15+ pounds

 The other day I was cleaning up our closet, and Colton needed to be entertained, so I grabbed this toy that the girls used to play with, and brought it into our closet. He just played and played! I was kinda sad at first, my baby isnt a BABY anymore! This is a big baby toy!

 How can you not love this face?!?! This is how happy he is after a good nap!

I still wrap Colton up when he goes down for a nap, or for the night. If he comes unwrapped, I dont re-wrap him. I want him to be able to sleep without needing to be swaddled all the time. Colton still doesnt love his binkie. I dont know how I feel about this! Binkies are amazing when I need to calm him down real quick, when im not able to nurse.

During the day we dont really have a schedule. I let him eat and sleep whenever he feels like it. But come 8pm, I get him ready for bed, nurse him to sleep, and put him in his crib. He sleeps until 6am most nights. This week he has been waking up at 3am. I have been bringing him to bed with us, and he nurses, and we go back to sleep. Its not an every morning thing, so I cant really get mad about it! Colton doesnt really have any nicknames. I call him Colton Boy, and Aaron calls him Colt sometimes, but not always. Claire and Carlie are still doing great with him and are a HUGE help!

Family Fall Festival!

Last weekend was the Fall Festival at the girls school. They were SO excited to go! There were TONS of games to play! The girls had a BLAST!

Alysias Bachelorette Party!

My good friend is getting married this weekend, so 2 weekends ago we had a Bachelorette party for her! It was a BLAST!

My friend Raina got us a room at Mandalay Bay, and thats where the fun started! Our Party Bus picked us up and took us to Diablos @ Monte Carlo.

 We had our own private section at the Piano Bar. We had 2 tables, 7 chairs, and a little dancing area, totally sectioned off from other people. It was AWESOME! We had the BEST seats in the house! We were right behind one piano, and super close to the main dance floor. Below, Raina, Alysia and Cachay dancing.

 This was our favorite piano player/singer. Too bad his head got cut off. He was amazing though. I think we were his favorites!

 To say we got a little wild and crazy is an understatement!! Heres Cachay using one of the props and dancing around to Uptown Girl! I've never laughed so hard before in my life!

 We left the Piano Bar around 2:30am and went back to the hotel. We dance for over 6 hours!! We got back to the Hotel had some cake, soaked our feet in the tub, chit chatted, and finally went to bed around 4am. This is the view from our hotel room in the morning.

I was SO SORE the next day, and SO TIRED! But, we had a total blast!!

Colton

I take a LOT of pictures of Colton on my iPhone. (I HATE when people say that, and i hate that IM saying that, but its true. I have over 700 pictures of Colton on my phone!) This little photo shoot was one morning while we were still laying in bed before the girls woke up. He is SO happy in the mornings! I LOVE waking up to this face! It really is a great start to the day!

 Colton still prefers his fingers/hands over a binkie. Drives me nuts. His hands are always slobbery and gross! But its just so darn cute!

Colton isnt a huge fan of 'Tummy Time'. Im not very good at remembering to lay him down on his tummy. But it sure is cute when he lifts his head up and looks around!
